August/September Letter from Editor-in-Chief

Dear Reader,

Welcome back to a new school year and to UNIT-E 2013-2014!

We hope that you've had a stress-free holiday, and that you’re prepared for another year of studying, exams, and long school days. (Which is not to fear, UNIT-E will always be here for you.) UNIT-E has been turning its gears all summer long in order to churn out this new edition. If you’d like to check out what else we did over the summer, check out our Happenings column.

As always, we're looking for inspired young minds to join the ranks of UNIT-E. UNIT-E is a hub for all creative activity and is a fantastic opportunity to meet students from other schools, and engage in the process of compiling a publication. If you're a writer, or simply just wishing to make your opinions public, send an email to [email protected] with your name, grade, school and email address, and you'll be set.

If you're looking for a different department, we have two other sectors that contribute every cycle to the compilation of our magazine. Artists, designers and formatters can send an email to [email protected] or [email protected], while those looking into advertising and marketing can send an email to [email protected]. 

We hope that this edition of UNIT-E will mark an auspicious start to another school year. Keep an eye out for UNIT-E throughout the school year!
